*11 ENDINGS OF STOCKHOLM* looks at Swedish culture through the eyes of someone who doesn’t quite understand it (me).
What began as a journey to get to know Stockholm beyond my city centre bubble soon evolved into a broader exploration of Swedish culture. I began to walk around Stockholm’s outskirts, using the ends of the metro system as my starting and end points. Capturing photographs of quiet streets lined with Volvos, sausages and tranquil bodies of water. I sought to portray my own view of life in the Swedish capital.
To present this series I have taken Inspiration from the now defunct IKEA catalog and will publish my own 242 page catalog taking the viewer twice around the city covering 200km on foot. Presented chronologically the series of photographs were taken over the course of a year.
